Job Description

The HRA – Employee Relations is responsible for the overall service delivery of all employee relations functions by developing and building strong relationships with designated operations partners and employees. The incumbent will also act as primary liaison and point of contact between the business and the HR-ER department.

The HRA – Employee Relations will also support the objectives of other HR teams, such as Business Partner, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Legal, and Recruiting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration of policies and procedures and labor compliance 
  • Employee discipline
  • Implement new employment regulations or procedures
  • Customer service

Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide employee relations support for various accounts through involvement in day-to-day operations, including interpretation of company's policies and procedures, fact-finding investigations following department guidelines, and discussing employee complaints/issues. 
  • Assist in addressing and responding to employment complaints and litigation through governmental agencies, using department procedures. 
  • Log and track employee relations issues & attrition 
  • Implement new and existing employment regulations 
  • Conducts exit interviews and policies roll out as back up for the HRM – Site HR.
  • Assist in the administration of progressive discipline sanctions, terminations, employee status change request, and employee performance reviews. 
  • Understand the role and contribution of other functional groups and how Employee Relations impacts and is impacted by other functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Has a university degree and/or proven competencies in HR management, labor law, employee relations, and management

Work Experience:

  • Has a proven and successful track record of effective leadership in HR and/or Employee Relations Capacity
  • Has in depth knowledge of HR tools that can be used for HR Operations 
  • Has a working knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and its allied laws, rule and regulations
  • Has a good understanding of CRM best practice and markets
  • Has experience working in a performance driven environment 

Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills.  Preferably with experience in multinational company in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Computer literate with advanced knowledge of Office tools.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • High level of maturity and sense of responsibility
  • Highly analytical and must be results-oriented  with a strong foundation of integrity
