Transcom is looking for talented individuals like you to join our awesome team! Be a Recruitment Specialist (Onboarding) for our Transcom Pasig site. This role will focus on driving seamless onboarding process for identified candidates for Support and Leadership. 


Join our Transcom Family as a Recruitment Specialist (Onboarding):

Job Objective

  • He/she must be able to conduct and perform the onboarding end to end process in Corporate Recruitment.
  • His/her main duties include providing support to the Recruitment department scheduling and organizing onboarding with identified candidates.
  • A Recruitment Specialist performs data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database.
  • Recruitment Specialist is responsible in assisting the Recruitment Manager in stakeholder management
  • Recruitment Specialist must explain requirements and duties to candidates, screen candidates and maintain a good relationship with employees, employers, and candidates
  • They uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information.
  • Ensure that all the necessary paperwork is filed and that applicant forms are completed and processed
  • That all pre-employment documents and requirements are properly processed, collected and completed for 201 Management.
  • Requires performing administrative functions of HR, a good understanding of HR documentation and processes, with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Support and Manage Recruitment Trackers and Dashboard Reports
  • To ensure that all candidates receive a friendly and consistent service

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, Request and Present job offers to identified candidates
  • Preparing contracts and communicating all onboarding documents to new employees
  • Process Background and Criminal Record Checks; Schedules Pre-employment Medical Exam (PEME) of candidates
  • Maintains and tracks requirements of newly on-boarded employees; manage 201 records
  • Handle and Manage Pre-employment documentation such as:
    - Audit and Checking of Pre-employment requirements
    - Submission of Proof of Government Statutory Requirements
    - Monitor and Updating of PEME, BI, ECN and Salary Recommendation Trackers
    - ATM Payroll application
  • Work with the team to achieve goals and hiring requirements
  • Handles On boarding of New Hires:
    - To be the go-to contact for the candidate from when they are recruited to when they start in their new role
    - Conducts orientation to new hires, briefing them of their functions as well as descriptions of the campaign or department where they will be assigned
  • Process Purchase Orders / Requests for Recruitment Vendors
  • Consistently adhere to company policies and code of conduct

Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting relationships with potential hires
  • Participates in calibration meetings and communicates the needs/demands of hiring accounts
  • Performs other related tasks from time to time
  • Assist in contacting applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration and selection
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Prepares daily and weekly reports based on function and need


What we are looking for:

  • Preferably Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • At least 2 to 3 years of work related experience
  • Above average communication skills in written and oral English
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Amenable to work on shifting schedule
  • Achieve goals and targets
  • Consistently demonstrate behaviors emulating Transcom values
  • Consistently adhere to company policies and code of conduct
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate
  • Management Systems (CMS) is an advantage
  • Ability to work in teams, as well as work on their own with minimal supervision
